The Bradford Park Avenue 2016-17 National League North fixtures have been released.

Alex Meechan’s side will kick off the campaign with a trip to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday August 6.

Avenue’s first home match comes just four days later, as Curzon Ashton visit the Horsfall on Wednesday August 10.

Nuneaton Town visit for the first Saturday home fixture on August 13, before another midweek fixture at Chorley on Tuesday August 16.

Bradford finish the season with a long trip to Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday April 29.

The Bank Holiday fixtures this time around see a trip to Tamworth on Saturday August 27, before a home match against AFC Fylde on the Monday.

These fixtures are reversed as Avenue host Tamworth on Easter Saturday (April 15) before travelling to Fylde’s brand new Mill Farm stadium two days later.

There are just the two matches over the Christmas period this time around, Avenue travelling to Salford City on Boxing Day before the reverse fixture at the Horsfall Stadium on New Year’s Day.

Avenue have the shortest trip across the whole division to make when Meechan takes his side to The Shay to face Halifax on Saturday September 24, the reverse fixture falling on Saturday March 11.

And from the other side of Yorkshire, Avenue host Harrogate Town on Saturday August 20, before making the trip to Wetherby Road on Saturday January 14.

There are no scheduled matches on Saturday September 17 and October 1, with the FA Cup second and third qualifying rounds pencilled in.

The FA Trophy third qualifying round falls on November 26, before the first round proper on December 10, both of which also left blank in the fixture list.
